I have been a city councillor for the city of Regensburg since 2020. From 2020 to 2023, I was the leader of the Green Party faction in the city council. In the city council, I am a member of the Committee for Administration, Finance and Investments, the Culture Committee, the Education Committee, the Economic Committee and the Sports Committee.
I also represent the city of Regensburg on the Cultural Advisory Board, on the supervisory boards of RBD Regensburg Business Development GmbH, BioPark GmbH and R-Tech GmbH, and on the Association Council of Sparkasse Regensburg.
I see my main focus in urban policy primarily in the areas of
- Administration and finance
- Culture
- Antifascism
- Science & innovation
- Digitalisation
From 2018 to 2023, I was the Green Party's parliamentary group leader in the Upper Palatinate district council, where I was also a member of the district committee and the culture committee. In the district council, I was particularly involved in the areas of cultural policy, youth policy, climate protection, accessibility and better working conditions in health and care. For the district of Upper Palatinate, I was a member of the plenary assembly and the audit committee of the Bavarian District Council. There, in the Bavarian District Council, I was deputy spokesperson for our Green Party faction. During my five years in office, a number of things were set in motion that are particularly close to my heart, including a complete overhaul of the district's pop culture funding, strengthening youth work in the Upper Palatinate, and the introduction and continuation of digital street work. At medbo, we were able to make at least a few important adjustments to working conditions. There is finally a Bavaria-wide crisis service for mental health crises. The district of Upper Palatinate is finally moving towards climate neutrality.
